Julie is an experienced director in strategic and political communication with extensive knowledge across governmental, political, and academic sectors. With a master’s degree in communication and political science, Julie has taken care of significant roles at the Danish Conservative People’s Party and a Copenhagen-based public affairs and PR agency, before she moved back into academia to conduct research in political communication and leadership at the University of Copenhagen.

She then expanded her expertise by serving as a special advisor to the director of digitisation in the Ministry of Finance, before establishing her own communication agency, Askholm Kommunikation, advising clients on strategic communication and stakeholder management within the financial and defence sector.
